La Hacienda 2 in Merced

Lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Not busy, see we received excellent attention (not to say that the same attention would have been absent during busy hours). Food was excellent and the service was fantastic.

Wow the food here is amazing! It comes in a hot plate and it's delicious. The staff's friendly and nice. No complaints at all. Had a wonderful Valentine's! Thanks!

Usually reliable, sometimes a disappointment. Blah refried beans tonight, a salad that usually has a half an avocado had four wee slices. Two requests for guac and we stopped asking. Was told they no longer carry my Drambuie, the girl went back to inquire the brands of scotch available and returned with, oh, wow, my Drambuie.

I really love their dishes. I always get good service there. The place is well organised and the staff members are always kind. Will come visit again.

First time here,food was not too good. First plate was the taco beans and rice plate was hot chicken was real dry and had no flavor. The second plate was the enchilada with the beans and rice this plate was real cold and not what I was hoping for once again the chicken was dry and didn't have any flavor...The service was ok had to seat our self..But for the price of our meal at lunch time was way to expensive and for the portions that we got was not a good value..Over all that was the first and last time we will be going to eat here....

Food was so so. I asked for carrots instead of rice and got no rice and charged extra for carrots. The old La Ha was much better.

I like La Hacienda 2's casual atmosphere and the chips and salsa. There's a nice selection to choose from on the menu and the service is good. However, the reason for the 3 stars is because I found the meat in the flautas I ordered to be on the bland side.

I went and sat in the bar and had a wonderful meal and watched the warriors game a couple of weeks ago.Now I'm told they don't serve food in the bar on Friday and Saturday so I asked for chips and salsa they don't serve that either so I thought I would outsmart them and ask for a to-go order in the main restaurant they don't do to-go orders. Is this really a restaurant. They have a new manager and I can't imagine with these decisions that he'll be there very long. I will have to patronize other restaurants because I like to have a drink and I like the bar atmosphere and I liked it eat my dinner there and watch sports. I must say I felt very at home there and the staff was friendly, too bad I can't go again.

Needs a vegan option like guacamole or potato tacos on the menu. Really good service and margaritas! Yay!

i love this restaurant. i have issues where Richard decided you can’t order guacamole to an order..sounded ridiculous. my cure for that is telling the waitress that i’ll order the most expensive meal with said guacamole keep the guacamole and send the plate back the order what i usually do. so i win..i dislike doing this however😉

Good place, nice service, good service and nice price for the food. Go there often, and haven't really had any issues so far. Hope it stays like that.

Nice relaxing place with an excellent atmosphere. Very friendly. The female bartender made me feel like I was at home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Awesome food, very nice staff members, constantly excellent ambience. They charge convenient pricing and the food quality is good. I recommend this place.

Has gone down over the years. Not enough waitresses. Food is okay. They always keep the door to the bar open. So you get to hear the drunks yelling while eating your dinner.

Don't order the nachos. Beans and cheese, no salsa or cilantro or sour cream or anything at all. Charge and extra $2.50 for carne asada.

Just OK.The service was really awful- a couple girls to refill chips that couldn't take our order and one waitress who kept us waiting for 20 minutes because apparently 3 tables were too many for her. My chicken taco and enchilada were very tasty, but my husband's sopas we're sense and soggy. Everything needed salt.

There food had no taste very nice place but there food was poorly made never go there again my husband ordered steak ala mexcana there steak was very thin meat meat with a very tomatoy sauce on top with no taste what so ever

Burning of meal got food poisoning threw up after meal mixed meats didnt change cooking oil bad lunch. For me.

Very clean, inviting and spacious atmosphere.. prompt friendly service.. large variety of dishes..went at 3pm and still received the lunch specials. Large plates filled with yummy food with just the right amount of spices added .. will go back again.

We had a large party service was very good staff was on point. I loved the grilled shrimp salad

The food was good but it took about 50 minutes to get our food.

I gave it a 3 stars because it is a nice clean place, friendly staff. But the food is more a 2 star totally bland no taste. I tried salt, pepper and even salsa to flavor the food, it just was that blah. My client agreed, didn't finish her plate, refused a to go box because of her food not having flavor either. If you guys owning the restaurant are reading this, PLEASE LEARN HOW TO HIRE A COOK! Buy spices and herbs for goodness sakes! Ot you are going to be going out of business soon.

It wasnt that good, it use to be my favorite. But for 75 dollars for3 people I could have gotten Sushi or steak dinner.

Honestly one of the worst meals I have ever had. Atmosphere was nice. The menu said the fluta came with sour cream and guacamole. However when I asked about it I was told it was an additional $1 charge. Ok I get it some things change with menus my daughter ordered nachos and there was so much grease on the plate the chips were soggy on bottom burnt on top and the cheese not even melted. Sadly I will not come back

So disappointed. Took forever and food tasted awful. Very sad used to be so good.

I like coming here because the atmosphere is really nice, the way the place is decorated has a very southern feel to it. I've tried quite a few dishes from here and none have disappointed. The service here isn't bad either.

It had great atmosphere, I loved the inside fountain, and there was good portions. Definitely great for any mealtime. Their spicy food isn't very spicy, but there steak is good (so it's okay, lol).

The good was really good, the server in the bar awesome. Looks like it could be rough late at night. We are there for lunch so all was cool.

The service is excellent and the food is so good. We eat there as often as we can.

I loved their food!! They have chips with salsa and with beans as a complementary app. I got burritos and they were awesome!! The meat was cooked perfectly with the perfect sauce to complement the entire dish. So good!
